North Carolina State Button Society
Buttonbytes Discussion Group is an online button club formally recognized by the National Button
Society. It is for collectors of clothing buttons from all eras. Sharing information about book
reviews, auction information, club chat, buying, selling and trading is why this Club was founded.
The group has more than 800 members. The group features include study topics and "Wild
Wednesday" where members can offer to sell or purchase buttons or button related items.

To join Buttonbytes, you must first become a Google member. There is no charge. Google
requires this because Buttonbytes is a private group to which only members can post and whose
archives are available only to members.

To insure that only members post, your email address must be verified as correct by Google -
Google will send you a confirmation email to verify and you must reply to the email to confirm
your address.

Once you have joined Google, go to the Buttonbytes home page and click on "Join This Group"
and follow the instructions.

Once you have joined the group, you must read the Buttonbytes FAQ (Frequently Asked
Questions) to understand how the group functions and the "rules of the road." After reading the
FAQ, feel free to join in the ongoing conversations, or begin a question of your own, as long as it
is related to collectible clothing buttons. When you get a chance, post a short message telling the
group a little about yourself and what you collect. Remember, all mail addressed to
buttonbytes@googlegroups.com goes to every member of the group.

If you have problems or questions related to joining Buttonbytes, contact the moderator, Ronnie
Wexler, from the "About" Buttonbytes page.
